Discounted Pricing For Abbey Youth Fest

Check it out: The deadline for early registration for Abbey Youth Fest has been pushed back a couple of days.  Also, in order to make it easier for more people to attend, VPCYG is reducing the deposit amount.

Here is the permission form for Abbey Youth Fest for you to download.

Abbey Youth Fest is an ALL DAY event on the grounds of St. Joseph Benedictine Abbey & Seminary near Covington, LA.  The event consists of praise music, prayer, adoration, and great speakers.

Here is the updated registration information.  If you want to register to attend, please let me know (in the comment box of this post; by phone; or tell my wife, Mrs. Anne, at Sacred Heart).

  • 1st Deadline: Sunday, Feb. 10 – $20, WITH a t-shirt; or $15, without a t-shirt
  • 2nd Deadline: Wednesday, Feb. 20 – $25, WITH a t-shirt; or $20 without a t-shirt
  • 3rd Deadline: after Feb. 20 – $25 without a t-shirt.

You will also need either to pack a lunch/dinner and snacks; or you can purchase meal tickets for a prepared lunch at the monastery.  Lunch and dinner will cost $5 each (for a total of $10 on meals, plus a little extra if you want extra soft drinks/candy).

Additionally, there will be a transportation cost.  Right now, that transportation cost is $20 per person.

So, for as little as $50, you can early register by Sunday, Feb. 10; get a t-shirt; get two meals; and pay for your trip.

There will also be music CDs, jewelry, and clothing items for sale there.

(Please note: the VPCYG deadlines are slightly earlier than what is listed on the Abbey Youth Fest website.  This is to allow me enough time to collect the money and pay Abbey Youth Fest on time.  Also, the photo on this post IS NOT from Abbey Youth Fest; it comes from
