Tuesday, Nov. 4, millions of Americans will vote to elect the next President of the United States. Faithful Catholic voters have an obligation:
- to form their consciences according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church;
- to inform themselves about the various issues facing them in an election, including those that are intrinsically evil and those that are matters of prudential judgment;
- to vote accordingly.
Although this blog does not endorse any particular candidate, it does try to help inform voters about the various teachings of the Church and the positions of the candidates. This is Part 6 in the series. You may want to refer to Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5 for more details.
Please take 4 minutes to watch the video below. It reallys does a good job of putting in perspective the various issues that voters face when entering the voting booth, and drawing out the implications for serious Catholic voters.
