Back in September, I began a series of posts about one of the most beautiful songs ever, the Ave Maria.  That first post featured what I think is best version of the song — Luciano Pavarotti’s version.  Go check that one out, then come back here.

Today, let me offer what I think is the second-best — Celine Dion’s version.

My wife LOVES Celine Dion‘s music.  I’ve got to say, that woman has a great set of pipes.  Her pop music in English is good, sometimes very good; but, when she gets going in French, she can be great (especially when she’s teamed up with the writing of Jean-Jacques Goldman).
