The Ville Platte Catholic Youth Group will go shopping and ice skating on Wednesday, Nov. 26 (the day before Thanksgiving). You will need to download the ice skating permission form and return it by Sunday, Nov. 23.

We will go shopping at the Mall of Acadiana; and we will go ice skating at the Louisiana Hockeyplex

We will leave at about 3:30 pm from the Sacred Heart Church parking lot.  We’ll go shopping from about 4:30-6:30 pm; then we’ll go skating from about 7:00-9:00 pm.  We’ll be back in Ville Platte at about 10 pm.

You will need money to shop (if you choose) and to eat at the Mall.  Plus, admission and skate rental will cost $5.

If we have at least 20 people, we’ll take the Sacred Heart bus.  If we use the bus, then you will need to pay a $5 transportation fee.

If we have between 6-19 people, we’ll need parent chaperones to drive us to Lafayette.  There will not be a transportation charge.

Please leave your name in the Comments Box to let everyone know if you’re planning on coming with us.
