Karlo Broussard – Cajun Super Apologist

He did it again!

Would somebody get Gov. Bobby Jindal to proclaim this guy a State Treasure?

Cajun Super Apologist® Karlo Broussard just destroyed the Protestant tradition (lowercase “t”) of Sola Scriptura.

Karlo appeared Monday (April 20) on Catholic Answers LIVE, wherein he superlatively explained the authentic basis for the Catholic undestanding of Sacred Tradition (capital “T”).  To listen to Karlo, go here and

Great to discover yet another Catholic defending the faith. Can there ever be enough of us?

How to Defend the Catholic Faith

  2. Mark Roland says:

Ten days ago, 2400 homes were damaged or destroyed, 24 killed in Moore, Oklahoma by a tornado. Was this God’s plan?

    • Nicholas Jagneaux says:

      Mr. Roland,

You ask a very important question about the reality of suffering in the world. Indeed, as Peter Kreeft writes, “The problem of evil is the most serious problem in the world. It is also the one serious objection to the existence of God.”

Such an important question is not easily disposed of in combox interactions. I have your email address, and I would be happy to engage in a dialogue through email. Just let me know.

In the meantime, please let me provide some articles that you might consider reading on the theme of suffering and evil in the world. First, you might want to read Dr. Kreeft on the topic (here and here). Also this article by Bryan Cross is good. Luiz Sergio Solimeo has written an article about it. And, lastly, let me recommend a book-length treatment by C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain, which I am sure you can easily get at your local library.

These are all good to read; nevertheless, your question is really one that should be engaged not only through reading and reflection, but through interpersonal dialogue. Please let me know if you’d like to carry on some email correspondence.
