New Blog Feature – Banner Art Page

I am adding a new feature to the blog:  A page describing the banner art.

I usually change the banner art to reflect the Church calendar.

giotto_pentecost

For example, today is Pentecost Sunday.  So, I’ve chosen a fresco depicting the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost from Giotto, which he painted at the Scrovengi Chapel in Padua.  (The Scrovengi Chapel is also called the Arena Chapel.)

This new page will change as the banner art changes, and it will give information and links about the art and artist.

      Dana,

I’m really not sure what provoked that reaction from you. Would you please explain what happened?
