For those of you who don’t know: Third Day is a very popular Christian Rock band from Georgia. They’ve won tons of Dove Awards, and they have an international fanbase. Check out Third Day’s MySpace page.
Of course, the band’s name – Third Day – refers to Easter Sunday (Matt. 20:17-19).
The above painting is a fresco by Fra Angelico, The Resurrection of Christ. One of the greatest Christian artists ever, the Dominican Blessed Fra Angelico was an early Renaissance painter beloved for his talent and piety. Wikipedia has a fine gallery of Fra Angelico’s works.
